Marble floors, glass walls and minimalist displays emphasize the cutting-edge chic that characterizes Chanel. Couture is on the top floor, but the bottom floor is the busy one. It sells sunglasses, neckties, jewelry, handbags, wallets and all sorts of other accessories. There are always about a half-dozen sales associates striding about the floor and seeking out potential big spenders.
